Anil Mahajane is an industrial management professional with extensive experience in procurement, commercial operations, project coordination, capacity expansion, and industrial business development. Highly qualified from the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), his career has been defined by operating at the interface of commercial leadership and technical execution.
During his corporate career, he worked closely with promoters, managing directors, project consultants, engineering teams, procurement departments, equipment suppliers, and contractors in the evaluation, selection, procurement, and implementation of industrial machinery and process equipment.
At Vardhaman Special Steels, he served as Head – C&A and was additionally entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Projects Coordinator for modernisation and expansion. He was actively involved in Greenfield projects relating to the Steel Melt Shop, Billet Casting Facilities, Steel Rolling Mill operations, and Oxygen Plant systems — coordinating with consultants, equipment suppliers, contractors, and project teams. This provided extensive exposure to machinery evaluation, techno-commercial comparisons, procurement decisions, project execution, and industrial plant operations.
Earlier, at the Mandideep manufacturing complex of Oswal Agro Group, reporting directly to the CMD, as Chief Executive Officer, he was responsible for commercial and operational management of multiple manufacturing facilities. He also coordinated the installation of two Solvent Extraction Plants and the capacity expansion of Hydrogenated Oil manufacturing operations, working closely with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams.
